Mt.Kanchenjunga is the main peak of the mountain range that forms the center of the Sikkim Himalayas on the border between Taplejung District, Mechi Prefecture in eastern Nepal and Sikkim State in India. With an altitude of 8586m, it is the third highest mountain in the world after Everest and K2.
